About the Conference
The 2026 APATE Annual Conference, jointly organized by the Asia-Pacific Association for Teacher Education (APATE) and the Teacher Education Society (TEA) at National Taiwan Normal University, brings together scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from around the world.
Focusing on the theme “Teaching, Trust, and Transformation,” the conference explores how the role and social value of teachers can be strengthened in times of rapid change and uncertainty.
The conference particularly welcomes cross-national and interdisciplinary perspectives that contribute to advancing teacher education in the Asia-Pacific and beyond.
