PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE 理事長的話
On behalf of the Asia-Pacific Association for Teacher Education (APATE), it is a privilege to serve as President. In this role, I am committed to advancing our initiatives, strengthening regional collaboration, and championing innovation within the teaching profession.
APATE is a legally established, non-profit organization dedicated to fostering synergy between policymakers and scholars. Our mission is to deepen academic exchange and promote the practical application of teacher education across the Asia-Pacific region.
I firmly believe that education is the primary catalyst for regional development and social progress. With a forward-looking vision, APATE will implement comprehensive strategies to professionalize and internationalize teacher preparation. By establishing platforms for cross-national resource sharing, we aim to bridge the gap between teaching and research.
A significant milestone in our journey was officially joining the World Education Research Association (WERA) last year. This partnership has expanded our international reach and solidified our connection to the global research community. Moving forward, we remain dedicated to providing expert consultation and hosting international conferences that unite scholars to drive sustainable innovation in teacher education.
